01What this is
- The assessment is free and neutral.
- Fireveyor LLC is not a licensed contractor yet. Published prices and a local crew follow the day a California license is active. Until then, nothing is quoted and nothing is contracted.
02People
The founder, the field lead and every crew lead go here, each with a photograph. Nobody is named here before they have agreed.

Agency relationships, described exactly
Parcel data: County of Sonoma (Clerk-Recorder-Assessor and Permit Sonoma), used with attribution under the County's open data license; it is general reference data, not survey quality. Fire hazard severity zones, responsibility areas and historic fire perimeters: CAL FIRE and the Office of the State Fire Marshal. High fire-threat district: California Public Utilities Commission. Evacuation zones: County of Sonoma and City of Santa Rosa. Fireveyor is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, CAL FIRE, the County of Sonoma or any fire agency.
05The twelve rules
These are the rules Fireveyor works to. They are in every contract and on this page, and changing one takes the founder's signature.
- The assessment is free and self-contained. The full written assessment, with no visit, no account and no sales call.
- Every recommendation is labeled: required today, with the section cited; pending, adopted but not in force; or recommended, Fireveyor's judgment. Pending is never presented as required.
- Prices are published. Unit price ranges for every menu item are on this site. A quote above the published range says why, in writing.
- Who would do the work is named. Every report prints up to three licensed businesses for each kind of work, with their license numbers, and says an owner may use any licensed business they like, or none.
- The DIY column is always there. What an owner can do themselves is marked, with instructions, before any price.
- No same-day signing. No contract is signed on the day of the visit. Quotes stay valid for at least 30 days. A deposit is never requested in person.
- Payment follows work, and runs one way. The client contracts with Fireveyor and pays Fireveyor; Fireveyor pays the business that does the work. The down payment never exceeds what California law allows, and every progress payment follows a milestone the client can see in photographs.
- The crew is named. The client knows the crew lead's name and face before the truck arrives, and that person stays to completion.
- Every job produces an evidence packet: photographs, product specifications, and a line for each item naming the insurer's measure it earns. Delivered without being asked.
- Fireveyor never warns about fires. Alerts come from the county's emergency office and the fire districts. Fireveyor notifies owners about deadlines, rules, insurance and maintenance, and says so.
- No trackers, no data sales, no lists. The account holds what the owner put in it and what the public record says about the parcel. Nothing is sold, shared or scored.
- The license number is everywhere: on this site, the trucks, the contracts, the business cards and every advertisement, with a local telephone number and a California address.
06What Fireveyor never does
- It never calls itself an inspector, a certifier or a warning system.
- It never runs a countdown or a limited-time offer, and never prints a figure without its source, the day it was read, and what can be done about it.
- It never cold-calls, door-knocks or mails postcards, and it buys no display advertising in its first year.
- It never pays for a referral, and no business pays to be named in a report: the businesses it names are the subcontractors Fireveyor would engage and pay.
- It never describes a fire district, a council or an agency as having endorsed it. The attribution line above is the whole of the relationship.
