01Who, and why
-
Independent insurance brokers and agents

- In Sonoma County alone, FAIR Plan policies went from 956 to 6,304 between fiscal 2020 and September 2024, and the letters land on their desks.
- What Fireveyor gives them
- The evidence packet formatted for underwriters; priority scheduling; the FAIR Plan explainer under their letterhead.
- In one line
We produce what your carriers ask for, and we tell your clients what not to buy.
-
Firewise site leaders and the fire safe councils
- Why they refer
- They are volunteers who need tools, not vendors.
- What Fireveyor gives them
- The desktop assessment for every household they refer, prepared and signed by Fireveyor; workshop support; Zone 0 and vent demonstrations at their meetings.
- In one line
Every household in your site gets a free written assessment, prepared and signed by Fireveyor.
-
Fire district prevention staff
- Why they refer
- They will not recommend a contractor, and should not.
- What Fireveyor gives them
- A neutral tool they can hand to residents after a visit; accurate descriptions of the relationship on this site.
- In one line
Here is a free assessment you can give anyone who asks what to do next.
-
Realtors and transaction coordinators

- AB 38 documentation and the buyer's insurance quote decide whether a hillside listing closes.
- What Fireveyor gives them
- The pre-listing package, and a report the buyer's broker can forward.
- In one line
We document the hillside listing before it goes live.
-
Property, estate and vineyard managers
- Why they refer
- They are judged on avoided problems.
- What Fireveyor gives them
- A property record per parcel; stewardship on a calendar; awareness of commercial financing where it still exists.
- In one line
One record, one crew, one calendar for every parcel you manage.
-
Landscape architects, designers and arborists
- Why they refer
- Fire-smart design is their work; clearcutting is their fear.
- What Fireveyor gives them
- Zone 0 and defensible space done to their drawings; credit in case studies; never a tree removed that they did not specify.
- In one line
We build the landscape you designed, not the one somebody improvises.
-
Homeowners' associations
- Why they refer
- Group pricing and community designations move whole neighborhoods.
- What Fireveyor gives them
- A neighborhood proposal; Firewise and IBHS neighborhood framing; one point of contact.
- In one line
One plan for the whole hill, priced by the unit.
02The assessment for the residents you refer
Fireveyor prepares and signs the desktop assessment for every resident a council, district or Firewise leader refers, free. It is the same document every owner gets. Sign in.
03The rules of the program
- Fireveyor is a contractor, and the report says so. Where an owner asks for the work, they contract with Fireveyor and pay Fireveyor, and Fireveyor engages and pays the business that does it. A partner hands out a document that states that on its own first page.
- No cash, gift, credit or discount to any partner or any homeowner for a referral. The five-dollar statutory gift limit is treated as zero.
- No exclusivity asked, and none offered.
- A partner is named in a case study only with their consent.
- Business and Professions Code section 7157 makes paying for a referral a misdemeanor in most forms.
04What a partner is not
- A partner is not an endorsement. A district that hands out the assessment has not endorsed a contractor.
